Important Ticket Information

You will receive TWO emails for a successful transaction:
1 - An email from Worldpay that will show that the transaction has gone through
2 - An email from JMLive acknowledging that your order has been received

During the first week of March ticket emails, which will contain your ticket number details and the names of the ticket holders, will be sent out. The ticket email will be your entry to the event. A notification will be put up on the website when the emails start being sent out.

Check the junk mail / spam filter on your emails. Most missing emails will be found there.

Refund/Transfer Policy : Tickets are non-refundable, but are transferable. You may sell your ticket. For the ticket transfer to be accepted the organisers will have to be contacted via email with the new ticket holder's name and email address. A transfer is not complete until confirmation has been received from the organiser.

Ticket transfers are limited to TWO per buyer.
IMPORTANT: Tickets cannot be transferred to someone who already has a ticket for the event registered in their name. Tickets cannot be transferred for the purpose of obtaining a lower ticket number.

Privacy : All personal buyer details shall remain confidential and be used solely for the purpose of registration at the event. All information is kept internally and is not shared with any third parties.

Payment security : All payments are powered through WorldPay on a secure server.

COMMON BUSINESS TERMS / DISCLAIMER

1. Contract

1.1. With ordering and paying for a ticket for THE RIFT (referred to as event hereafter) and the confirmation of order and payment, the attendee and the organiser enter a contract, and the attendee accepts the following business terms which cannot be altered.

1.2. The organiser has the right to refuse registrations without naming reasons or to refuse entry to the event on the day (refunding the original ticket price). After having confirmed a ticket the organiser can cancel the contract if facts become known that indicate a future disregard of these business terms by the attendee.

1.3. Tickets are NON-REFUNDABLE. The organiser will not refund a ticket in case the ticket holder cannot or will not attend. Transfers of tickets is at the ticket holder's discretion. Any changes in ticket holder need to approved by the organisers for the transfer to be accepted.

1.5. In case of cancellation of the event the organiser will refund the original ticket price. The cancellation of the event releases the organiser from any further claims.

2. Event

2.1. The organiser has the right to change the place or date of the convention inside the UK. In such a case no claims can be accepted other than the refund of the original ticket price should the ticket holder wish to cancel his attendance.

2.2. The organiser is allowed to change the event schedule. This is no reason for a refund of the ticket price.

2.3. Offering and/or selling of goods and services during the event is only allowed with a written permission by the organiser. No one can assert a claiming for such a permission.

3. Liability

3.1. The organiser is not liable in case of damage of property or bodily harm, unless in case of gross negligence and intent on the organiser's part.

3.2. For any kind of damage of property and persons the initiator is responsible.

3.3. The organiser is not liable for any lost or stolen property. The organiser will not take responsibility for minors or persons with limited decision-making ability, apart from the common care and duty to maintain safety.

4. Security

4.1. It is strictly forbidden to bring weapons, pyrotechnical and other dangerous items to the event. It is strictly forbidden to bring illegal substances (according to UK law) to the event. Animals are not allowed during the event.

4.2. Attendees must obey the instructions given by the security staff and stewards. The staff and the stewards are authorised to check bags during the event.

4.3. The organiser has the right to bar any kind of advertising and promotion from the event.

4.4. In case of violation of 4.1 or 4.2. the attendee will be immediately removed from the event location by the organiser and/or staff. The organiser is free to remove persons from the event if they are disturbing the event, if their behaviour is unacceptable or if their behaviour presents a danger for themselves and/or other attendees. In these cases no refund for tickets and possible other paid services will be given.

5. Audiovisual Recordings

5.1. The organiser has the right to refuse audiovisual recording during all or parts of the event. Attendees will be notified of this clearly and in time. In case of violation the attendee will be removed from the event location according to 4.4.

5.2. The use of audiovisual recordings for later commercial use of any kind is strictly forbidden unless written permission is given by the organiser. The organiser reserves the right to claim compensation.

5.3. Definition of audiovisual recording is: photography, video and film recordings, audio tape or other means of audio recording.

6. Otherwise

6.1. The invalidity of single agreements in these business terms will not invalidate all common business terms stated here. Invalid agreements will be replaced by valid regulations that resemble the invalid agreement the most.

6.2. All agreements which depart from the common business terms stated here must exist in written form in order to take effect.
